Requirements:. Access to a Windows machine (either bare metal or virtual), version XP or up. USB stick. Image file to be used as custom logo that will be shown at booting your probook (make your own, find one with Google or you can use mine (which has been updated)). HP Ereplogo Utility (get it ). Rufus (get it )According to HP documentation the image should be: no smaller than 424 x 320 pixels and not larger than 1024 x 768 pixels.The maximum filesize is 32k. And filetype is JPG.Note that our screens are widescreen so your image should be corrected.

Use the defaults except select a DOS image for 'Create bootable disk using:'Select your USB stick and go for it.2. Extract EREPLOGO.EXE from the HP's Softpaq sp58176 and put it on the USB stick.3. Copy your logo to the USB stick too.4. Boot your 4530s (and perhaps any other hp probook) with the USB stick inserted.5.
Press F10 to enter BIOS, click System Configuration, click Boot Options, check the Custom Logo box. Click Exit and save changes.6. Press F9 at the BIOS prompt and select your USB stick as boot device. DOS should now be booting.7. At the DOS prompt type: ereplogo /f:logo.jpg. Yep it's separate from the boot process:1st there's the bios logo, then there's the chimera's or other bootloader's theme that shows the apple logo.However, you can use Apple's standard logo as custom logo for the BIOS.I used one and added the HP logo to it. Just make sure you resize the canvas to a width of 1366px and then resize the image width to 1024.Adding a rotating circle wouldn't be possible as it's just one JPG.I haven't tried loading an animated GIF with just the file extension changed to JPG.

Back when I first discovered Paolo Ceric’s animations, I thought they’d make wonderful boot animations. Apparently, XDA-Developers forum user raishiro thought the same, because he took some 56 of Ceric’s finest creations and turned them into boot animations that can be used on any rooted Android device.Raishiro added 25 variations of some of the 56 GIF images, bringing the collection to a grand total of 81 boot animations. All images are available in HDPI (480×800) and XHDPI (720 x 1280) resolutions.Here are just a couple of samples (high resolution):The XDA user even made a helpful tutorial for changing boot animations on rooted Android devices, which you can watch below.
The process if fairly simple and the results are definitely worth it.
